Who controls your data

What we collect

• Account data: name, email address, role (athlete, parent or coach), password credentials handled by our authentication provider.
• Athlete profile data: age, sport, position, experience, availability, academics, goals, concerns and challenges submitted in the assessment.
• Development data: program days completed, wins logged, weekly faith and performance reflections, Player Index scores and coaching chat messages.
• Family links: the connection between a parent account and an athlete account.
• Transaction data: subscription status, plan, renewal dates and payment identifiers. We never see or store full card numbers.
• Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and error logs.

Why we use it

To create and secure accounts, deliver coaching and the 90-day pathway, calculate the Player Index, give parents visibility of their athlete, process memberships, provide support, and improve and secure the service. Our legal bases are performance of a contract, our legitimate interests in running the academy safely, consent where required, and legal obligations.

Children

Athletes under 18 must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian, who consents to the processing described here and can review or delete the athlete's data at any time. We collect only what is needed to coach the athlete and never sell children's data or use it for behavioural advertising.

Who we share it with

• Paddle.com — our Merchant of Record and payment processor, which handles checkout, billing, tax and refunds.
• Our hosting, database and authentication providers, which store account and development data on our behalf.
• Our AI provider, which processes coaching chat messages to generate responses.
• AVA coaches, who see the athlete data needed to coach that athlete, and the linked parent account.
• Authorities, where disclosure is legally required or needed to protect a child.

We do not sell personal data.

Retention

We keep account and development data while the account is active and for up to 24 months afterwards, then delete or anonymise it. Transaction records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of your data, object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent. Email globallionsm@gmail.com and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EEA or UK you may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security and transfers

Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted to those who need it, and athlete records are protected by row-level access rules. Our providers may process data in the United States and other countries using appropriate safeguards.
